i-com Technology run the St. David's Day 10k race

Catherine, David & Nick from i-com Technology entered the St. David’s Day 10k run in Bute Park in Cardiff on Sunday 6thMarch 2010.

We chose to run for a charity called Jacob’s Starz who are a local charity in Blackwood helping children with cancer receive holidays and gifts to help them shine through their illness.

The charity was founded by Sara Eales who sadly lost her son Jacob to cancer aged only 15 back in 2009.  Jacob went to school with Catherine’s eldest son Sam, so we thought it a great charity to raise money for.

We all completed the course in 56 minutes.

We are also hoping to run a 10k in July through the forest of Dean and then also take place in the Cardiff ½ marathon in October this year.
