Since their inception in 2002, the Awards have attracted entries from many of the Caerphilly's most succesful new and existing businesses. 

The first Awards were held at Caerphilly Castle but immediately outgrew the venue.  In 2003 it moved to the MAes Manor Hotel, where it established its reputation as the leading business event of the year. Soon even that became too small and since 2007 the Awards have been held in a specially erected marquee at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel and Spa, where they have reached a new level of success.
